This is really bothering me so i thought i would ask for a second opinion. How safe is the car @ 14psi untuned? lol, i mean aswell as only putting a little over 300 WHP down? someone watch this and explain it please.

Yea that guy was a member on here. Last I saw he was trying to sell his car. His afr's didn't look bad on that dyno chart if you pause it and look. Not sure what it ment by "Untuned", because that would definatly be disaster at 14psi.

Thats easy to explain.....Its not true. If it were untuned it wouldnt be able to reach 130mph.

Also looks like the Treadstone manifold, maybe they designed their kit after his.

 

Wow, that's a mess of tubes/wires in there..... it may have power, but it sure is unattractive.

 

I think that much HP untuned would blow the motor... he'd most likely lean out and then boom.

Yeah that is a lot of messy wiring in there.

 

14lbs and untuned = kaboom waiting to happen. Also 14 lbs I think would yeild a little more than 310 whp, maybe that's what they meant by untuned. As they had not tweeked it to get the most hp at that PSI level....dunno..

 

Well if he has a built motor now then that would explain the possible lower power due to the lower compression.

 

wonder what kind of turbo this guy is running.

 

untuned at WOT is possible big injectors and the car will run okay at WOT. it may not idle have zero driveability etc...but it may run at full throttle...

 

theoretically possibly....but highly improbable........

Thats why he blew his motor. He has a built block now, but he was trying to sell the car.

Yea, I believe he bought his internals through ZPI.

 

And obviously didn't have the guys at ZPI tune his car.... or anyone for that matter (Untuned tC)... My wife could buy internals from God himself and blow them in 10 minutes with a horrible untuned car, for what's that worth....

Looks like he frankensteined the kit from many other people and if it blew... surely cause he had it set up horribly... just looking at the engine bay scares me... just looks like crap...

I wonder where he bought all the other stuff that was in that vid that we see.
