The top has a 53 position ratcheting **** that adjusts spring preload.

 

I'd love to hear a sound clip as well. How do you know it is 90 recirc 10 atmosphere. I couldn't find any documentation showing this. Also, how many turns did you use?

This is from the Forge installation pdf. It shows the internals of the valve body. The large opening is set from Forge to be the recirculating vent and the small opening the atmospheric vent.
...90/10 is just an approximation.



The internal valve body can also be removed, turned and reinserted so the DV functions as 90% atmospheric and 10% recirculated or 100% atmospheric when the recirculating end is replaced with the included plug closing off the smaller vent.


Not sure off hand. I had some one rev then I'd turn it, we did this until it stayed fully open under idle and fully closed under load and fully open when the gas was released.


Performance is great. Holds boost way better than the stock bpv.

If search Youtube for Forge Splitter. There's a good few with it on a Seat and one or two on an A4. It sounds exactly the same.
I have nothing to record a sound clip with (my camera is a DSLR) so there will most likely not be one posted unless I happen to be with someone in the near fuiture who happens to have a digi cam on them.


fyi - My black one will be up for sale in the next few months. I am ordering a polished Splitter as I am polishing my compressor housing.

the audio on my phone is worthless and I only have a DSLR which doesn't take vid. Eventually someone will be in my car with a digi cam that does tho.

Awesome, I was curious how this would work on an SC application.

A few things:

So far the adjustment range has proven to work from 7-26 psi.

The reverse (~10% recirc - 90% atmo) will only really work with a MAP based car.

Boost pressure most enter the BOTTOM port of the valve.

 

^ it works very well, altho I am having some trouble with it staying closed at idle.

 

You could try increasing the preload in the spring.

Where is the vac/boost reference line coming from and are there any other devices tapped into it?

Does it open to the point that it vents to atmosphere or just into the recirc port?
