Im in the process of installing my walbro fuel pump right now and was wondering what i need to do to get it back in the plastic housing,, the fuel pump is longer then the stock one so it doesnt want to click into the housing. I gor the dezod walbro pump with install kit and it came with a lower rubber bushing thing to sit on the bottom part of the plastic housing that clicks in but the fuel pump is longer then stock, Please HELP

when i installed the walbro 255 lph pump in my xB I had to modify the sending unit to fit the pump in. I trimmed part of the plastic on the sending unit and got it to fit in nice and snug. I am assuming you will hafta do the same for the tC, but I would try to contact Paul or Joe from dezod to see what they say. Good luck with everything, but like i said, your probly gonna hafta bust the dremmel out and start cutting.

I dont think you need to cut it,, the hard plastic intake line thing for the fuel pump sits up with the rubber o ring where its supposed to and theres still a gap with the plastic so cutting the plastic wont help in my position i dont think,,, sorry if im confusing

did you contact dezod? You could also ask ScionGt35r and see what they did. His mechanic Pito ran twin walbro's in the tank on his tC. Obviously you dont need 2 of em, but if they can get both to fit Im sure you can get one to fit

I finally did it!, what i did,, i grounded down the 4 plastic prong type thingd protruding from the bottom of the walbro fuel pump, then i cut a piece from the lower cage where the fuel filter comes out of, the cage part just below where the fuel filter connects just that little section, and then i used a razor blade and slowly scraped some plastic off from the tap connections and now it fits like a glove,,, i couldnt use that rubber donut lower piece not enough room with cage to use it, but other then that it was easy once i figured it out and all that was required was a little cutting.

So... the dezod install kit wasn't needed?

Just wondering, cause I have a walbro fuel pump, and they won't sell the kit alone.
