this maybe a dumb question but when i got my used zpi kit i got a wastegate with a spring in it and anther ziplock with another spring....i checked the spring and it didnt have any indication on what size it is...any one have a clue on how to figure it out besides putting it in the wastegate..

 

is the spring painted? what color?

well yea just watch it and see what your boost says and do watch your afr very closely!!

 

After inspecting the springs again the one that was inside the wg was red but only on the bottom half. This is the same wg that came with the zpi kit so I assume going by tials link that the red means 6psi. But what about the other metal colored one it's not listed on tials site? I think the zpi kits came with a 6 and 11psi spring if I'm correct?

 

the red is 5.8psi

meh i want 7-8 psi so i guess ill get the boost controller....no guess on what the metal colored spring is?

Nope my car was pretty much stock then, plus my launch was about a whole second of wheel hop

 

Ways a na tc suppose to run?

 

stock tc can run a 15.1 but u have to be a pretty good driver...lol i just slammed the gas and had hella wheel hop and spin.
