welding of the oil pan?

Default welding of the oil pan?

ok so what local shop would do this? a midas? or what? im in south florida anyone kno somewhere?

and what exactly do i say.. i got an extra oil pan a new one for my install so what do i say? ill bring the oil pan to them and what do i ask for? im not exactly sure what has to be done to the oil pan.

you take it to any shop that can weld, like an exhaust shop.
You also bring your oil drain bung that came with your kit, and you tell them to drill a hole in the front of your pan and weld that bung there.
Make sure you look at where your stock one is and tell them to put it where it will have room for the line.

If you have a TT kit, you need to make sure it clears the WG DumpTube.

Its easiest to have a shop drill a hole big enough for the return fitting. Silicone it up and you'll be good to go. Since the pan is aluminum, i think its a pain to weld. I dunno for sure though.

my silicone leaked...so my shop welded it after...no issues now.

ya i still need to make sure it clears the dump tube i asked dezod to build me one cuz i didnt wanna run open i wish i had a picture of where a good place on the pan would be though so i could show them

that was after I got it welded...I got a pic of it when it was just tapped too...

looks fine to me...man, I can't beleive he's got an offer of $72 for his stock intake! I just threw mine away I shoulda sold it!

the auction says "without plug" he means the drain plug.
You know, when you change your oil, the little bolt you take out? You will need the one from your old oil pan, so don't lose it.
