Right now, there is no way a 2az is holding that much power.

It would need sleeves, bigger head studs main studs, crank, ect!

2000whp is ALOT from a 4cyl

thats 500 a hole

Brian (Jester) said it's a 2az also. Yeah I remember a while back it was not a 2az. But not 100% sure if that is true today. Someone PM Rob for verification. I'm just going off of what my boy was thinking too. If it's now a 2az then it's a big icing on the cake for bragging rights for us...lol.

there you go, i think the first one was on the 3gste i remembered.. they prolly switched to the 3rz later. but 3gste is a 2.0? that makes a lot of power

I mean it can handle the power but the motor will give up anytime prematurely with repeated abuse

the 2a-Z-e is a "supercharged" prepped motor.
hence lower compression pistons but i think anymore then 310whp is more then enough stress on out motors without touching the block, but with a good tune and proper parts anything is possible.

and yeah rado is using the tacoma 2.7 3RZ FE but still a beast!

I wouldnt say its a superchrged prepped motor. Thats a lil much in my book. plus the TRD crapcharger didnt add much but spinning tires. It didnt put really much stress on the motor for the minimal gains it gave.

nothing that couldnt be fixed with lsd, but i was going to the block numbers for that reference the z is for lower compression block "4agze" as another example.

does anyone know if there are sleeved short blocks that we can buy?
