Really, Trd lol.

To the original poster, you find great success with AEM fic, AEM EMS, GREDDY ULTIMATE and the apr unit, it's all dependent on your goals, aem fic being the best basic bang for your buck it hAs fuel and timing retard control, the ultimate is next as u can raise the rev limit and speed limit and also a lil more things, then well it's up to you with the APR OR AEM EMS BOTH STAND ALONES, the apr Is a Toyota style that will alter the ecu I think it's pretty cool but I don't know many who know how to tune it but it the one to have of you want a Emission legal stand alone

will the emanage let you do close throttle tuning like the aem f/ic?

I currently have the unichip and being that my car is an automatic, my friend has a manual and has no problems with the unichip. Apparently the manual and auto are completely two different beasts because the auto is controlled electronically (has sequential shift) it tents to screw up my long fuel trims no matter what i do.

We tune it, then 3 hours later its all fked up, it really really really is frustrating as hell.

The ultimate doesn't do as well with closed loop but it does do it in its own strange way I'll leave it to some one more experienced with it to explain, I've only used it on cars that don't have a closed loop or is disabled

Your picture could not have said it any better bret =P For the mean time i have my 02 unplugged and just running open loop. Got a stellar map will just have to figure out how to modify the unichip to get rid of the cel.

before someone says it, yes i have a in car digital a/f meter so i do not need the factory one.

definatly still want more info on what people are using and how easy it was to get everything working.

It seems to me like you don't want a standalone but you want a closed loop capable tuning device that is easy to work with and not give you a cel, my friend your in luck , it's called FIC!
