Default what should my a/f ratio be?

i think my s/c'd tc is running rich(even for forced induction).

i went to the dyno yesterday and they also gave me an a'f ratio print out(so this isnt based off a cheap a'f gauge). my a'f reads like this: 2500rpm(14.0:1), 3000rpm(12.9:1) ill skip some here.........5500rpm(11:1)6000rpm(10:1) and 6600rpm(rev limiter) i was @ 12:1 now i think thats pretty rich (not to mention im getting carbon build up on muffler tip) but can anyone tell me what the a/f shoulf be with a s/c'd motor??

thanks

11.1 isnt bad for FI. 10.1 should be like spitting gas out the back haha. How are you tuning it? What kind or power are you making during those rpm's? Did the power drop off up top?

That sounds about normal for the TRD map.

i might not be spitting out gas but the carbon is starting to build up(car is 8mo. old and the s/c has been on car about 2 weeks) im not tuning it(yet) but the car is running on the trd s/c (map/chip, program....) the power was climbing all the way to about rev limit(6600k) then it drops off

hey- vitviper how's your a/f?(you have the trd map right?) and even though thats "normal" for the trd map isnt that still too rich?(even for f/i?)

i dont think a factory tuned car should be showing signs of running too rich this soon(hell my turbo civic that i "street" tuned has way less carbon showing after 2 years then a brand new car after 8mo.(2 weeks f/i).......not to mention my turbo build/tune was no where near $3500

It's tuned conservatively for safety. My a/f ratio dipped into the 10's up top as well. It's a good "safe" tune. I traded my tC in for an 07 350Z.
