Default This is why you need FUEL RETURN SETUP!

this was chad "soflotc" car tuned on aem standalone.

900cc injectors
"NO RETURN FUEL SETUP"

as you can see on the top of the map it starts to flatline, this is because injectors are maxing out at only 19 PSI.

I had to use meth to aid in fueling past 18 psi.. so we stopped it at 19 psi with decent amount of timing..

The car will hit the dyno on monday!

Stay posted

Car came to me, 20psi 10afr. When it wasint 10afr it barley spun 3rd..

now with raised redline to 8000 rpms. the cars roasts the tires from 50-100!

Id say were making pretty good power

Seems like the CC throw out bearing for twin disk is giving up though

Yeah you'll have to compensate a bit on the fuel map because even though you also had 900cc on your map, you had a 1:1 FPR which he doesn't have.

I'm interested in seeing how it all turns out. Good luck Mike.

Mike, you figure out that fuel pump fuse issue on your car? BTW, I've still got the reservations for the dyno on Saturday coming up.

i got a return fuel system. but is this the reason why you need a return fuel system? this sounds more like a reason to have a rising fuel pressure regulator so that your fuel pressure rises with boost pressure to fight the push forced air from the turbo pushing against the fuel from the injectors.

oh, and competition clutch just seems like a complete failure on all levels. atleast with scion clutches.

He's more or less referring to the ability to throw in ALOT more fuel with a return style setup. You are very limited (as seen above) without a return. Of course the pressure will need to go higher like you said but overall pressure alone won't do the trick. Two pumps definitely makes fuel a non-issue unless you auto-x on less than half tank or something lol.

do you have a 3d map on yours on your old setup to compare to this?

some mod to increase VE will also help that plateau on his fuel map, something to make the car flow more air on top end, but yeah fuel setup first.. no point flowing more air if you cant force more juice lol
