World Racing Descendent Turbo Kit *VIDEO PG12*
I'm just curious how sales are going to come about.
1) Rather late when it comes to releasing a turbo kit for the tC. Late market entry would need to have a really outstanding product to steal sales away from the other manufactures.
2) With the price tag, it's a double whammy on generating an abundance of sales.

that is 100% what I was thinking - and for them to market something like this (and have smart people think its a good idea) - there is a good chance its going to be sweet.

there's no question about the PS3, it's going to kick major Xbox booty! And it's not priced substantially more than the Xbox was. This kit is a different story, MOST expensive kit to-date, late entry into a market that's already flooded. Another thought I was having....300, 400, 500whp is all the same despite which kit you have. Unlike this kit, the PS3 is offereing something that's actually different.
Well, what about the HD-DVD, I have a PS2 and the Xbox360, and I can only say, that looking at the PS3 marketing strategy, they just lost another fan. Its just too expensive, and rember how much the games are gonna cost... $75!! With buying the PS3 and on or two games, I can already buy the Xbox 360 2 games and the Wii. lol Its just too much.
PS3 marketing stratgey is bad. The games look nice. The graphics between the PS3 and the Xbox360 or not that far apart from each other but gameplays counts not graphics. I have the XBOX360 I enjoy the system.. But the Wii look like it will have the best gameplay out of all the three systems. Back on the topic What did I miss? TRD is behind this turbo kit now? I don't feel like going back 8 pages to catch up. can someone give me a quick update?
^ As stated above i can't see toyota backing a turbo kit also i don't feeling like reading 8 pages back but the original poster keeps saying chris rado told him and i could have sworn i read scion no longer deals with the rado family.

This is what will happen if this kit goes through for the tC. You'll pay about the same as an evo and I'm sure they'll be added mods to support the power. The difference between having the "Rado tC" from the factory and having a tC with a turbo is that it's from the factory in some way shape or form. That means warranty related fixes and best of all you can get all this in your loan. WD/Rado is also working close with Scion and TRD so they'll be able to develop a kit with a lot of inside knowledge which should make this kit run *possibly* better then any other out there. These are some of the things that might make it above what's out now.
How many people do you know buying Lancer's for $14K and spending $6K to put a turbo in it? That's what we'll have when and if this goes through, a lancer with a turbo not and evo.
Oh yeah, nothing against who makes kits now, this will just push them more to make upgraded kits and parts for the "Rado tC" like other companies do for the Evo.

All I know is that its available and you can buy it whenever you want.
Well, for the most part, it's all He-said-She-said. Is there a document stating the delearship deal? Are there contracts in place that Rado has signed off on, saying they are adding this kit to their line-up? I only trust, "Well I heard from such and such...that, this and that", about as far as I can throw a 400lb Monkey.
