After installing my new shifter and ****, like later in the day, I went for a drive. Damn that **** was hot. It almost hurt to shift. I had to put the stock plastic one back on. Now I keep it in my glove compartment just in case. Next mod on the list will be window tint for sure.

TRD shift **** on a CC SS.

I used a hacksaw to cut this piece out, it was apart of that shiny plastic piece that attatches to the shift boot. Otherwise this or the OEM **** wont screw down on a SS.

ichibansf, do you have any other pictures of you ****?

I like that one, it looks like the A6 Leopard but isn't crazy expensive.
The pics on the site are blury and I can't tell what the finish looks like. Is the "Naked" a satin that matches the trim of the car?

How does it fit? I know you dont have a short throw, and it looks like your missing the metal piece that holds down the boot. Any reason for it? did you need to take that off in order for it to screw down?

8mm? I don't know of any shifters smaller than 10mm. Eight is scarcely over 1/4". The tC (and almost all Toyota) is 12mm, and most Hondas are 10mm.

Are there any other ***** other than OBX that cover the little holes in the chrome ring at the top of the manual boot? There is a MOMO black leather **** similar to the OBX options that I would like to get but it doesn't have the collar at the bottom to cover that. Is there a way to get that finished look with a different ****? If so, please put up some pictures, I'm not seeing it on any of these on here so far.

i believe so, I think autos use the 8mm spacer? But double check that.
