Resistor effects only for the speedo, tach, gas/temp gauges..

For the warning lights on the bottom, it doesn't matter what color you use..

I had a question about this picture:

I was just wondering about the labeling of the fuel and temp LEDs. But isn't the fuel LEDs on the right and the Temp LEDs on the left? And one more questions, if i want to use a white LED and a red LED on the Fuel which of the resistor should i change? Any chance you can tell me how to do the color changing needle?

The picture shows the two gauges backwards. Fuel is right, Temp is left.

Sorry my mistake on the labeling.. but it shouldn't make any difference in installation.

But you shouldn't be using two differe color LED on single series..
Are you trying to make the color changing needle?? if this is the case, then that is not the right way to do it..

lol i gave up on the whole color changing needle effect....i couldnt figure it out after countless attempts...

how much would you charge to just change out the resistors in the HVAC? i already did the led swap and have the resistors in hand cause i thought i was going to be able to handle it as i did with the cluster.....but the size of the resistors kinda made me not want to go for it....

I think i'm going to give up on the idea of doing a color changing needle too. The resistors on the gauge are they just soldered in like the LEDs?

Does it matter which way the resistors are soldered in? Like how the LEDs you need to have it facing a particular way. Oh and am I also replacing both R155 and R157 with 331 (470 ohm) instead of 331 (330 ohm)?

Resistor has no direction... so it can be either direction..

It will work, but you'll get very slightly uneven brightness, if you have manual....
