I'm having some problems with my swap. The gauges won't light up. Everything else lights up but the gauges. The LCD screen turns off when the headlight turns on. Could it be the resistors?

Hey, if I use a 470ohm instead of a 330ohm will it be brighter? Will anything bad happen? like a fire or anything?
Basically higher the resistence (higher OHM number) less current flows so less power for the LED...
