Hey all I am trying to put my TMW Stage 2 in and i was wondering how in the hell u get those wiring harnesses to come apart so you take off the center console to make more room, i tried and tried and i could not get them to break apart( I didnt want to break anything so i didnt pull real hard). Does anyone know how to get these apart?
For a better idea of what i am talking about, to see these clips, you have to pop the shift boot off and take out the front and back screws/bolts to make the console able to move a bit, and these clips are the ones that go from the front of the car into the center console so you can plug the ipod, auxillary, and another plug in for a car cell charger or something of that nature.
Anyone, Anyone?

depending on who installed them... you might need to cut a bunch of ziptites for the iPod cable... and the iPod plug that i spoke of might be covered in foam tape.
other than that.. the cig lighter and aux have plugs right below where the cupholder was...
just disconnect all of them.

ehh.. more so it doesn't rattle move around alot or something..
and it looks pretty too... there's no harm in removing it... but i still usually i put new foam tape over it since my buddy has a box full of ones he doesn't use in installs.. and ehh... whatever.
toyota loves to include "extra parts" with everything.. lol (i.e hmm... so many zipties..... i don't really need to use them all.. or any..)
