Default '08 factory subwoofer adjustment

Is there any crossover, or level adjustment on the factory sub? Not the Bazooka, but the one mounted under the carpet lining in the hatch area? I have looked through both the owners manual and the radio manual and I can't find any adjustment on the head-unit. Even when I adjust the bass to -5 I still get boom (as opposed to bass). So for the time being I have unplugged it.

You feel bass, you hear boom. The cut-off frequency is too high. I understand that the factory tC audio is by no means the ultimate audiophile experience, but the sub overwhelms the other speakers. I want to tone it down a bit...

the answer to the question is no. there is no way to change the crossover, or subwoofer control with that factory subwoofer. the amp is mounted to the underside of the enclosure next to the actual subwoofer. yes the subwoofer sounds god awefull. unplug the subwoofer at the enclosure and turn the bass HU settings back up.

Thanks, I was pretty sure that was going to be the solution...
