i wanna sell my 08 Standard Headunit with Ipod connectivity to someone with an 05?
what (if anything) needs to be done?

you need a few hours of work to rip apart your car to grab the necessary wiring to reinstall into the '05 car for the iPod to work correctly.

you'll also lose your AUX as well, however, the '05 won't even be able to use it anyway unless you also want to rip out your steering wheel controls and all the necessary crazy wiring buried deep and routed all up and inside the dash.

if you sell the headunit.... best to just let the '05 guy know that unless he honestly really wants to use his iPod... it is really too much trouble.
