? about twm shift knobs

Default ? about twm shift *****

been looking to get the twm classic shift **** but cant deside on flat black or gun blue. they both look black. one shinny one not. but why do they call it gun blue does any body know if it has a blue tint or smothing?

blued steel was common for gun metal finishes to protect from rust and darken the metal so it doesn't create glare reflections. There's no blue tint; it looks like glossy black, with a slight rainbow hue from the faint machining lines. I just got the Desert Eagle and Bombshell in gun blue (I didn't know which shape I'd prefer better, so I got both); I think they look awesome.
