Default AC making water help please !!!

OK so i came back from college the other day and i finally got back into the tc !!! but mom told me it was leaking water on the inside when the AC was on and today when i was driving water started to drip in on the passenger side.

I only noticed it when i took a hard left turn. i took the glove box out and i saw a lot of the area was wet mainly to the left of the fan motor.

I have no idea how the AC system works so if anyone has a clue to what this could be that would help a lot !!!

I'm going on a guess - but it sounds like condensation on the evaporator is not draining properly. I don't know enough about how the tc HVAC is setup to really help more

Are you sure it is water and not anti-freeze/coolant?

Your drains for the heater core and AC core are plugged.normally it drains out side the car on the ground right next tothe firewall.

Jack the car up and put it on jack stands and you will see the holes that are supposed to drain the water out, most likely leaves or pine needles or dead mouse plugging them up,if I remember there is bolts that can be removed to open it up even.

no problem.......you can take out the filter from behind the glove box and that will probably be plugged up as well, might even be where the problem is,give that a try first.

^^ yup the drain hose is blocked, backing the condensation up and leaking into the interior.

OK the problem is fixed ! turns out u dont have to jack the car up if u pull down the carpet on the pasanger side and look to the left under all the AC stuff u can see the drainage tube just pull that out clear it and ur done.
