Default Accelerator pedal?

Does this come off/apart at all, or do I just need to drill right through the whole thing when I'm putting aftermarket pedals on?

Depends on the aftermarket pedal. AFAIK, it does NOT come off... at least is not intended to. When I put my OBX pedals on the new one slipped over the accelerator - where as the brake and clutch were removed and the new ones slipped over what was left.

I'm putting the MOMO pedals on. The clutch/brake slip off and the MOMO pedals bolt right on (sort of )... but I can't find anywhere that the accelerator pedal comes off. Oh well, time for drillin'.

if u get the obx ones they just slip over the pedal after the stock rubber pieces are takin off. although it takes quite an effort. if u get any other aftermarket ones they usually have clamps or double sided tape holding them on. although i found it better to just drill them and screw them on my older cars.

That's what I was wondering; if the accelerator pedal just had a rubber cover I could slip off and bolt the aftermarket pedal to, as with the other pedals. I'm going to go with no, though.

Your probably goona have to mount it off center a little bit because there is a big bar thing on the back of the accelerator pedal.

I noticed. Toyota did fine with the clutch and brake pedals... why couldn't they have just made the accelerator pedal the exact same way? This is ridiculously stupid.

This is about as straight as I could get mine. Plus it was hot and I got tired of messing with it

Did you have a problem with the glue on yours? Because the glue on mine is straight up terrible. You'd think with enough Italian stallions running around, they could make some decent glue.
