Default advice on parking lights

Well im stuck on deciding between 2 different sets of bulbs for my 2008 TC. Either the WLED-B5 which is more of a star pattern or the standard 6 led design where they are all facing forward. They are all here on the website http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specs.htm
If any of you have had experience please let me know which one will illuminate not only the headlight housing but project outwards. Thanks!

I would suggest getiing the "WLED-B5" type bulb.

Also try www.v-leds.com very good website.

I think they are really good quality. I have 3 "36 LED" square plate in the front dome lamps in cool white and man is it bright in threre. I also have the 6 led cool white bulbs in the tag lights. I 'll try and get some pics up later this week.

I've got the WLED-x5 from superbrightleds.com (5 led star pattern). and i'm not real happy with em. i've got 5000k hids, and the white leds are more blue than the hids. even though leds are in the star pattern, the light doesn't spread out nearly enough to make the parking lights noticeable. I would recommend finding a super bright halogen bulb instead, you'll be much happier. It's hard to describe, but i'll see if i can take a pic tomorrow night.

I used the inverted cone before that had a single led. They were not too bad but no enough light output for me. I was lucky and had them for about a year and no problems in my last tc. I might try the other LED that dos_techie said. But if you could post those pics that would be great!

In my '06 I put WLED-x5 in my parking lights and they're just okay. I then got a couple 5SMT LEDs to put in there, but their base is a little shorter than the WLED-x5, so they don't fit in the parking lights. You'd have to shave a little bit of the base to make them fit...so I just ended up putting the SMTs into my map light and now have a really bright interior.

I'm not sure if the base of the 11SMT is any different or if the plug for the '08 changed any though.
