I dropped off my HVAC assembly today to get the led swap done, as i was driving home i noticed my air bag indicator light was on, it wasn't on before removing the HVAC..i just want to know can this be due to the missing HVAC..i have an '08 tC, and on the lower HVAC panel i have an SRS air bag indicator light that flashes, so i am assuming that's the cause..but i would appreciate some feedback..thanks

 

because the passenger air bag indicator is on the hvac unit and when you turn on the ignition with that unplugged it will set off the air bag light. Not sure if it will reset on the tC most of the time you need to take it to the dealer to reset it.

 

You could always try unplugging the neg terminal on the battery and re-connecting it. Might work might not work, whats to lose?
