^^^ But when you have the alarm activated and you unlock the car doors with the car keys (by the buttons) Does it set the alarm off?

the way the installers are going to set mine up is that the alarm will mainly operateld go wrong with the clifford remote allowing me to gain access inside and dis-arm it, kind of a safe guard..i also purchased cliffords G5 self powered siren, just another precaution so the alarm cant be disabled

If you unlock it with the factory it won't go off till you open the door unless they are lazy and hook up the door trigger to the dome light.

Hey, does anybody know if Fry's Electronics does a good job with car alarm installation? I notice in the ad they are selling a Black Widow car alarm for I think $199 including installation. By the way, how is this brand for car alarms? I need a car alarm on my tC

Also, I saw the other day in Frys ad they are selling a Clifford car alarm for I think $199 as well. Just wondering if anybody got there car alarm installed there and how was it.

Please let me know

Thanks

i have no idea what Fry's is so can't tell you if they are any good.

I would buy the clifford over the black widow. DEI makes clifford and they also make Viper and python which are good alarms.

Thanks for the feedback. I been told that Clifford is a better brand than Black Widow. I might even consider going with the Viper at Best Buy.

Has anybody gotten there car alarm installed there and how was it?
