Default AM Radio Problem

I have an upgraded system as can be seen in my profile. S2K antenna, Sirius unit, Eclipse HU, 4 polk speakers and an amp. I tried to use the AM radio for the first time in a while recently. My reception is absolutely horrible everywhere. My FM reception is perfect. I do have some AM reception, but not enough to listen to it and make out what they're saying. I am ONLY picking up the more major stations to some extent. Any station with a weak signal - no chance.

Any advice? Maybe I knocked something loose? Thanks for the help in advance!

Did you hook up the power antenna wire on the wiring harness to the HU? It should be the blue wire on the harness.
We don't have a power antenna, but I spliced that wire anyways and get AM with my Eclipse HU.

Thanks for the advice, I actually didn't do that. I will have to go back later this week and get that taken care of! Thanks for the tip! - hopefully that'll be it!
