Amber Floorboards = ugly?
Hey guys, this is my first post. I tried searching for a topic like this, sorry, I didn't see one. I just recently ordered my FM '07 tC and should be getting it in about 3 weeks. I'm planning on getting the floorboard/cupholder lights installed, but my problem is this: I love the blue lighting, but I'm not sure how it will look when matched with the amber dash. Is the amber floorboard lighting pretty cool too? I don't want to get it if it's too bright or ugly, and the dealership doesn't have any amber ones to show me on the lot. Any opions would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
viks

the amber interior lighting looks pretty fine.
it's mostly a preference thing. seems not too many people like it too much.
but you shouldn't worry about matching if another color like blue is what you really want. cause changing it isn't such a big problem.

i have the amber. i like the color just fine, goes with my interior. blue is played out.
as far as brightness..no they are not really bright at all, just a warm glow. unless you install them exactly where the guide tells you you barely see the glow..but the problem is you see the 'sticks' during the day in your line of sight when you open the door. thats really offensive for a stealth puddle lamp effect. so i installed them a few inches back and you couldn't see the sticks, but now you couldn't really tell there was light. I ended up moving them to under the front seats for puddle lamps there. I upgraded the front bars to leds from oznium.
