I want to have my amp mounted so i don't have to take it out if i needed to access my spare tire and tools.

I have one 10 in a box and if i need to get the spare out i just want to be able to unhook my sub box, pull it out, then get the tire.

So where would be a good place to place it? Its this amp with dimisons approx 3x11x12

 

Mount it right to the floor in the back........i mounted my NINe.5 there and I can still lift my floor up to get the jack and spare........how big a sub box are you using........if it is too big to mount amp there then mount to the flaps on back of seat.........TCguy 85 did it with his DD amps and it is clean and looks good.

I bolted my old nine.1 amplifier where the foam is to the right of the spare tire. Never overheated but then again it doesn't get too hot here in seattle in the summers.

 

thats not really what i did. i didn't mount them to those flaps. i used a piece of 1/4 mdf and made a "wall" there and mounted them to that.

but if you're mounting a single small amp then mount it to the box or to the back of the back seats, either on one of those flaps or the seat itself.

no need to make a wall like i did, just for a single small amp.

 

i think i might do the flap thing, heres the box i have

 

what if i mount it to a like a piece of 1/2 plywood or somthing then put industrial velcro on the back flap and the plywood?
