this might be a stupid question but.................I know its not good to run a 1000w system on an amp kit rated for lets say 200w, but my question is, is it okay to use a 1000w amp kit when my system is pushing no more than 250???

 

yea thats no problem, its never worse to have somthing better then what u need.

 

I think that most of those kits are under-rated. You really dont need garden hose sized wire to power a 1000W amp....and oh yeah...most amps are also over-rated.
