My wife has a 05 tC and it has a very annoying rattle/vibration. It's coming from the flip down thing, that goes over the radio. Anybody else have that? Or know how to fix it? Thanks for any help, it'll be much appreciated.

 

There is a little squeak I hear out of mine (also an 05). You can try the solution someone came up with here:

i did that back in Jan 2006, havent heard one squeek since.

 

that squeak is soooo annoying...but thank god its not in my car...:knocks on wood:....my friends that have 07s and down have that problem

 

i have it in my 08. i just turn music up louder to ignore it

 

Well I can't really turn the music up louder, cause it sounds like shi*! Her driverside speaker doesn't even work. We definitely need to upgrade it to something else. Thanks for the replies, I'll be trying out that fix that someone posted already. Thanks for the help. I'll let you know what comes of the rattle.

 

oh ouch. i know a few who have tried like WD40

 

everything rattles once you get two 12" subs hahaha
