Default Anybody else's drivers seat pop when weight shifts?

Brakes, pop... acceleration, pop, turn right, pop... turn left, pop.

My 09 with 1300 miles drivers seat makes a pop sound every time my weight shifts. Any turn, braking, or acceleration= pop. Yep I checked and its bolted in well. Must be something internal.

Just thought I'd check with you guys before I try the dealer.

This occurs when you fold the seat forward (letting someone into the back seat) and then return it to the normal position. It's like one side of the seat is locked into place and the other is just slightly off.

I just push on the seat when after i've adjusted it; maybe just because i'm afraid what would happen in an accident if it wasn't clicked in all the way.

Curious if anyone has a solution to the problem.

Is it after you move the seat or does it keep popping? Mine doesnt pop but more like clicks into place. If thats the case then nothing is wrong with it, all normal.

Mine used to do that to when new......

Now to make it go away loosen up the bolts to the seat in the floor and then tighten them back up,as when I took my seats out to install Edead and stereo it has not come back.....must not be perfectly aligned from factory.

Mine does every once in a while. Not often though. It's brand new, I would take it in for service.

No, its definitely not a mechanical pop like the seat clicking into place. Its clearly something wrong.

I'll first try loosening the bolts then re-tightening them. If that doesn't work, in to the dealer we go.

yes i've seen this before. some tC's do it and some dont. It's like the cushion inside the seat is shifting and it's catching itself on the hogrings that hold it in place.
