Default Anyone replaced their IPOD OEM headunit?

I am looking to upgrade to the headunit with the IPOD capabilities. If you dont need yours anymore and want some extra $$$, let me know. Also, if you have the three wires that it takes to get it all hooked up as well, that would be great. Especially the wire that goes from the headunit to the center console area.

im guessing you have an 05? if you do, taking out ALL the wiring from the headunit to the console is a pain as i tried and gave up on it. however 06 and up should already come with a dead plug by the ebrake that you just plug the cable into.

Yeah, only the 06+ have the wiring from the headunit to the ebrake area. Unfortunately, I dont. So if someone has removed it or is doing a custom dash or something Id love those wires :-)

You cant get the wire that goes from the headunit to the ebrake are because is was "added" to the main wiring harness, even though the connectors and the wires can be easily separated. The main wiring harness is over $1000. You can get the other two though

around the ebrake, there is a plug that goes to the plug in the console if that makes any sense. there is that cord that goes from the ebrake connection to the console. and from there you have your ipod connection cord.

Exactly, basically there is a long wire that goes from the headunit to the center console area in all '06+ scions. Then if you got the upgrade to the IPOD headunit the factory connected from the ebrake into the center console area. And then the car came with a cord that plugs your IPOD into the center console plug. So three wires in all to get from the headunit to the IPOD. what a PITA. So even if you didnt get the IPOD upgrade you still have the long wire, and Id love to buy if from someone if they are doing custom work and wont need it anymore.
