Default Aux input

I was just wondering what size the aux input is on the stock 05' radio. I need to find a cable that fits it and my satellite radio and i have no idea what size the radio is

the '05 radio does not have an aux input... you'd need to purchase an adapter

and for any aux input, it's normally the usual 3.5mm stereo jack

any idea where to purchase one of those. I know the satellite radio requires a 1/8" stereo male connector

Make sure you get the stereo to stereo plug. I accidentally got the mono cable and it only played out of the left speakers! A quick exchange fixed that, however.

um.. why are you people telling the original poster to buy an adapter from Radio Shack? They don't have the input adapter that will allow an AUX input.. He needs an AUX input adapter, which PIE sells as the TOY AUX input adapter for the 05 tC

no the line level converter allows you to convert speaker level into line level (what goes in to your amp). get the aux-in adapter with 2 RCAs and you will be able to plug in an aux in. Dakine installed one and its here on the forums somewhere.

yes that's one of the ones we're talking about. the other is made by PIE .. since the 05 doesn't come with an aux input like the 06-07 does. You have to use that adapter to get one into the 05's radio.
