Default aux port doesnt work

hey guys i have a question... im a newbie on car electronics and im wondering why my aux input and my power outlet beside it doesnt work. i have a 2006 tc and i had a sub and an amp installed on it a year ago... i just had an ipod and i tried it on the car and it wont work. im wondering if the sub and amp install has something to do with it... does the stock HU have an aux plug behind it and that the installer might have forgotten to plug it back? or does the amp or sub plugs in its place, rendering the aux unput useless?

thanks guys!!!

probably forgot to plug the stuff back in...

open it up first from the shifter panel part.. and then the cupholders...

the plugs are right under there.. a white and blue one... plug it back in..

and yes... the radio does have another plug for it on the back... there should be 3 plugs plugged into the radio. you can check that too..

omg.. a full year before you asked?

To get any useful volume out of my MP3 player, I had to crank the head unit to about 50 and the volume was a notch or two from max on the MP3 player. Maybe you didn't turn it up enough?

well apparently when you plug in your ipod its suppose to show "ipod connected" on the HU but mine doesnt do that and the black ipod connector cable that comes with the car is basically useless because my ipod will not play period
