Default Avic-D1 too good to be true?

Found an AVIC-D1 on ebay for $500...yeah I said the same thing your thinking right now, SCAM.

I emailed the guy and he says that he has two models, a European model and a US model with everything, NAV, North American DVDs, Wiring harness, the whole package.

He also has ebay square trade send me an invoice showing that the product is under the Square Trade buyer protection plan.

his feedback is really good as I have read through 15 pages of it.

What do you guys think?

Legit or scam?

Bob

Probably a scam. If he asks you to send money through Western Union or any other type of wire money transfer, its no good.

IMO those feedback ratings mean nothing. Trust me. I have actually talked online to a guy that was scamming other people. I was going to buy an AVIC-D1 from him and when he told me the price, I didn't believe it. Unfortunately others did. I caught on to him, and got him to admit he was scamming. He thought he was smarter than me, but I'm no idiot. So I actually talked to him about it.

Put it this way. Anyone selling a brand new AVIC-D1 for less than $950 is definitely scamming. $950 is by far the cheapest legit price you will find. I know, because I have looked.

Lemme guess? He is not in the US and I am willing to bet he wanted you to send him money via Western Union. Know why that is? Western Union has no buyers protection. Once you send the loot, its gone. So I hope you take my advice, because I just saved you $500 and even more heartache
