yeah i did the bypass and the bypass works perfectly since day one.

 

Well that is weird.........mine is only like 35% learned.......where did you put the antenna......corner of the dash infront of driver......???

as for the d3 not starting up.. i would check on ground connection.. maybe its a bad connection

as for it not returning where you're at.. maybe relocate your gps might work..

can't really help since my d3 has worked since the first day i got it (knock on wood) but some ideas to try

 

#3 drive it around for 5 mins, the d3 will locate where u are.

 

yeah, i figured that the d3 not starting up was due to a bad ground connection. i have might have to clean that area and reconnect it. thanks.

and thanks trd, i will drive around if i happen to reset the unit again.

and i place the gps antenna on top of the d3 unit itself. i get full reception.

 

Perhaps your ground is good........but oneof the wires clamped to the ground is not gettign a good connection and is messing it up.........I had to redo my speedo wire.......

 

when i have time, i'm gonna reground the ground wire and recrimp all the other wires.

 

im sure this has been answered somewhere in the 23 pages here but im not reading them all.

whered everyone get the trim kit to fill up the extra space on the side of the D3?

the F looks cool.. but it has an even smaller screen.. but i do like its features and it looks mad clean :D

 

Anyone here have problems with the screen not turning on. It sucks that I have that problem. Other than hitting the reset button, is there an easier fix?

 

hmm.. screen not turning on..? haven't heard anything of that before except in the first n1 units (like the one i have...) with a flex cable wearing out..

also other things can cause that to happen... but best to call or contact pioneer... and/or find a local stereo shop and see if they can troubleshoot it.

 

where exactly do i drill the holes? And will it work for the avic-Z2?

 

i think im gonna be buying and installing mine tomm.

Do you guys have problems with it finding addresses? That predictive text thing is really getting annoying and I can't find anything by entering the addresses!

 

Yeah some times I cannot input an address........which sucks........wish it could be turned off and just let us input the thing at times......

 

intalled mine last night, but ran into a couple problems.
please HELPPP!!
1.) i modified the bracket by drilling out the indentations with a 3/16 drill bit....but my radio door cover still doesnt close...
2.) The factory subwoofer is no longer working.

any idead and suggestions?
