Default Back seats removed, anyone?

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a tC here that removed the back seats, but I don't come here too often so I don't remember the name. But I was kinda considering doing it myself, and wanted to see if anyone else has done it. Thanks.

well what exactly is your reason for removing it? i take my rear interior out when i go to the track for weight purposes but if your just doing it cause you can well....think about if you have to drive your friends someplace. i dont think you will want them to sit on the chassis ouch. but yeah man its mainly for weight reduction peace

You can do it, its pretty simple but it gets noisy without the seats. I dont drive anyone in the rear so it doesn't bother me if I have it or not.

I'll probably do it, fabricate some sort of seat delete. No one can get in the back with bucket seats.

i had mine out for a while but now they are back in. it's way easy to take out. no DIY needed, just play around with clips and the few seatbelt bolts, it shouldn't take more than an hour or so.

I took mine out and turned it into an amp rack with a plexiglass window. Also have the back end all fiberglassed.

I got the same deal as yellowxhoodie almost...but i also took off the piece covering the spare and carpeted it all as one piece(pita)..the piece covering spare has holes to pull up and the sides fold in so I still have complete access.Little noisy though but not really an issue since I blast my music, little tricky but all this was possible using the original bolts holes for the backseats and seat belts.

Have mine out, but still have the cushion on because it gets ugly looking at the floor. I don't like giving friends rides.

I very very rarely have anyone in the back, so I was just thinking of taking them out, re-covering the floor, and then maybe doing something else with it. Or just leaving it open, since I transport a lot of band gear pretty regularly.

Not sure if I'll actually do it, I just wanted to see if anyone else had done something similar. So, thanks for the replies.
