when installing front components i know its preferable to use a like 1/4 mdf baffel. would there be enough clearence in the front/back if you use a 1/4 baffel and the edi 6500's of the 6000's. Just curious if anyone has tried if anyone knows the clearence specs in the tc

 

3/4" I'm almost certain is necessary...MAYBE 1/2". But 1/4 and you'll play whack the window.

 

ok but if you use 3/4 will the front of the speaker have enough clearance so that the plastic door panel doesnt hit it. I had a 94 camry and the first audio install i did on it i put in alpine coaxials and even without baffels the tweeter was almost hitting the door panel

 

Absolutely, the ones we sell are 3/4".

You don't need to worry until it's 1.5" deep baffle.
