Were your pillars white?... I just used some resin w/ black dye to take care of that... Tons cheaper than two layers of cf....

 

yes they were, but i am a perfectionist with anything i do.

 

Gotcha... that's good... I just did one of my air pillars in cf and kevlar, but the weave didnt like some of the corners... I ordered a whole bunch of crap so I can vacuum bag stuff and get it looking a million times better...

Yea, but I dont plan on going too large... right now I have a 4' x 2' bag, so that should be good for most of the items I plan on doing...

For larger items, I'll just make my own bags in hopes on saving on costs of premade bags... But that's down the line a little bit...

I want to eventually construct some direct replacements, but havent tackled different the differnet mountings... Like I purchased the firmware mirror covers, nice but no way to mount it... I was going to use some tape and a plastic adhesive, but there was no guarantee they weren't gonna fly off... So working on some different ideas on that...
