Crutchfield is a total ripoff on them. And sure they're a bit more than a comparable Kicker, MTX, etc. but their footprint MORE than made up for the cost in my application. I've got two PDX's hidden under my false trunk floor on the right side (where the ED SQ10 would go) in that Styrofoam tray, fit perfectly, and no issues with temp at all.
I, for one, am glad I went with a PDX, well worth the money for me.

Well the guy that had the 32 sub from ED is a owner of ED.. But it would be about $3500 to $4500 for the system I'm guesting....

JL 10w3v3 subwoofer. The enclosure had just enough mounting depth to take it.

It's powered but a single JL 250/1 amplifier.

Don't forget to plug the port with a pipe plug and make it a sealed enclosure. Also, keep clear when in use.

yeah but alpines ___ and 90% of places where you get a warranty you have to pay retail. they're almost to JL that if you don't pay retail you don't get warranty. They're sweet, tiny and put out lots of power but for that price give me a nice DLS amp
Audiobahn makes a badmutha shallow mount sub. its a piston compression sub with 4.5" mounting depth. 180oz magnet, 5.5" dual 2 ohm voice coil.... its a nice sub. pricy though... based on my experience with the alum10N subs, i would definitely try them out.

Yeah, mine.
142.8 legal on a Term-Lab.
150 something on the hatch glass with the gain/bass boost cranked to get every last drop out of the speakers. Of course, when you start w/ about 32W each it's really hard to get much more out of just one amp

Total cost retail style:
32 Eu-700's: $2080
32 rings: $200
At least 15 gallons or resin: $300(bought in 1 gallon quantities, $20/gallon)
Waaaay too much mat: $60 or so(pick up your mat <url=http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Popular-Assortmnt-25-Fiberglass-Cloth-Biaxial-Mat-X3_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ26451QQihZ004QQitemZ4641305585>here</url>
Nine.1: $350
My time: ummm....there's a lot of it. I imagine around 100 hours or so total, so at shop labor rates $5k~$8k.
So if I paid someone else to do it, probably $8k~$11k or so.
That would suck, but I imagine it would have been done faster
