Default Best way to run wire through door?

Hey I have one quick question...
What's the best way to run wires through the rubber thing between the door and the kick panel?
Thanks

i used a wire clothes hanger that I cut. put a small hook in the end with some pliers and then pushed it through. Taped my wires to the hook and pulled them through. It was pretty tough but the rubber thing held it's ground and didn't rip. Just be patient with it and it will work out.

just loop it on the outside of the rubber thing....JK

what they said above should work well just be careful not to poke a hole in the rubber. I had a specific wire puller to do mine. Just make sure when you bend the clothes hanger at the end that you make sure that it won't catch on anything when you pull it backwards.

well if you bend it twice you end up with a sort of half paperclip looking thing on the end. works well. i thought about running the wire outside of the rubber thing but didn't want the wires to be seen

a wire clothes hanger and tape is the best way. just take your time and try not to destroy anything.

I've done this a few different times on both doors, and with some patience its really not bad. I maneuvered the rubber piece away from both the body and door so it was just hanging in the middle around the wires. I then used electrical tape to tape the new wires on the end of thin wooden dowl and slowly pushed it through the rubber piece. Once it got through, I pulled the wires through all the way and ran them into the door and into the cabin. Then reposition the rubber piece back the way it was and your done.

Or you could just do what is mentioned aboe. Lol.

the easiest way is when if you just buy a wire snake... there will be other uses for this but its so easy to snake it through... just wiggle it a bit...also, you dont have to worry about the wire snake poking a hole through the rubber piece like you would with a wire hanger
