monsterknobs.com direct fit AT shift **** with redline goods charcoal shift boot. (The color came out funny with the flash on, the boot is almost a direct match to the interior)

I never understood this? Why put a boot on an automatic? I'm not trying to flame on you? I'm just curious.

If its to make it look like a manual, does that mean a dummy clutch pedal too? Just kinda strange in my opinion.

Less lines, easier to clean, throw people for a loop, better looks, something to do to be different than everyone else.

Dust gets trapped inside the see-through 'window' of the A/T shifter... starts to look like crap after a while, and there's no way to clean it out unless you want to disassemble the shifter routinely. That's reason enough for me...

But then it looks pretty cool, and if someone tried to steal the car, it would throw them off for a little bit I'm sure. "Where's the f'in clutch?!"

ok you see this silver trim piece? this is the only remain piece from the automatic plate that you still use, the shift boot pops into it.
