Default Brake light on Dashboard..Help...

Lately on my dash the brake light keeps popping up and then disappearing! It usually pops up and stays about 30 sec or less.
My EB is down while this is happening and driving of course. My tC is an 07 5-speed!

Has anyone had this issue before?

Check your brake pads..they are probably low causing you to use to much brake fluid when you step on the brake.

check your pads, their is a reason why the light comes on. my wifes tc had the same issue and her front pads were done. i put new ones in and raised the fluid level and bam! no more light.

You never EVER just add brake fluid before checking other possible culprits.

30,000 miles is about all you can expect to get out of any set of pads. Sounds like you just need brakes again.
