What up fam,

Ive been reading a whole mess of posts about replacing stock speakers, and I am still undecided.

I got the stock HU and a pioneer amp for my kicker sub. The stock speakers are okay with me but of course I'm looking for better. However, I do not want to spend alot of money on the speakers, meaning I do not want to get componenets. And also I do plan on keeping my stock HU.

So, are these speakers:

even worth replacing the stock ones; will there be a noticable change? If anyone has better suggestions on better front speakers n tweeters (same price as above ones or lower) let me know.

lower price co-ax speakers to me sound the same. Just go have a listen at your nearest audio place. We can all say "Rockford,JL,mtx" but its really up to you. Everyone told me that Boston sounds good, didnt like em when I bought em. Great spearker,just not for me.

replace your headunit. i had stock speakers but when i replaced the headunit, it was a night and day difference in sound quality. now that i replaced the speakers with some cheap (alpine type-s) coaxials and amp, its not as a big of a difference than just swapping out the headunit.

 

^^ no matter what speakers you use... what limits and what allows those speakers to sound good is the source...

in other words..... replace your headunit first.

the stock speakers are great and people don't really realize that.
