I still need the trunk space, and I don't have thousands of dollars to invest in a system i'm using 3 hours a day tops. It's not a show car, I like the Bazooka for looks, doesn't take up alot of trunk space, and I'm trusting from what I've heard on here the eD has great sound quality, so I'm looking for that to make up for the Bazooka sub cuz I dont know what kind of quality Bazooka has. I've decided on the subs, no changin my mind on em at this point. just wandering is the amp is big enough to power them both.
the bazooka is rated at 250w and the SQ10 is 300w and the amp is 600w so if i understand how it works like i think i do the amp is fine right?
Have two different subs is an acoustical nightmare...whether in car or home audio having two different subs will give you peaks and troughs in your frequency curve which will hurt your sound quality.

You'ld be much better off putting a higher quality 10" sub in a 1 cu ft or smaller box than taking two completely different subs and play them together

And you don't need to spend $1k. Something easy to find like an Infinity 10" KappaPerfect and an amp to go with it should run you at the very very most $500 if buy it retail.

Ok so I read all the post and wow!!!! I like the way my aplines sound just want more highs. My weekend project will be amping them. Also I was in the market for comps and found a kick A$$ deal on they type r's. Way less than msrp.

Ok I have a pretty nice sound system in my car and I think that whoever buys a Bazooka sub from scion is no offense not the sharpest tool in the shed. SAVE your money and get a decent setup. What does those run now a days 400 something? Anyways big WASTE!
Now for those that say the excuse I dont have a show car so I font want a fancy system javascript:emoticon('')
Loser Get a box and some subs with a decent amp and for a few bucks more you will be SUBBIN!!!!

....Headache? >.<

Ok if you read all the posts you'd see I don't wanna be SUBBIN!!111...I just want a little more kick. the Bazooka was for looks but decided against it. The most expensive one I found was 220, the one I was plannin on, and they're not from Scion, just used by them. Don't need a huge box and all that, but do need the trunk space.

Sure...but I was giving a simple example of a sub that's easy to find in store. There aren't many better $200 subs in store...only thing I can think of is an Alpine Type R which is loud...but not the best sq.

$500 was for a sub + amp + box...in case that wasn't clear
