I put in all Knu wiring for power, signal and speakers last year and have been very happy with it. My setup is pretty similar to what Neb described, 0/1 power, power & ground distros, feeding comps and a couple of subs.

BTW, I emailed them and told them their name is misspelled. They said thanks for the heads up, they will correct it to New Concepts right away. They also mentioned that their products had been total crap and they couldn't figure out why, but that it must have been the spelling all along, and they expect that this correction should fix everything.

yea i find it ridiculous when ppl bash a company for their name. It's a name not the quality of work they do. Well if im just running subs for right now do i need the power & ground distros? or just 0/1 amp kit

well...... if you have ANY intention of doing a component set later you should go 1/0 because when you get comps you'll need another amp and have to run 1/0.

you'll need both because the input of the nine.1 only accepts 4 gauge wire.

well actually you did pretty much convince me haha...i am going with knukonceptz 4 gauge but now to choose which one.

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDe...?prodID=KLM-K4

or

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDe...prodID=KOL-AK4

or

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDe...prodID=KFX-AK4

i talked to eD and they said 4 gauge is find since im gonna add eD 6000 which only need a nine.2 to power it so no need for 0/1 gauge

ahh i didn't know what components you'd be going with, my philosophy is theres no reason to not have bigger wire than necessary = more current = more power. but go for the 52 dollar one if you can afford it much more complete kit and a much better product.

do you have all your stuff yet?

yes.. you get speaker wire with the 52 dollar kit where you don't with the other. the 120amp fuse means that it the fuse will blow if the amp or any electrical system draws more than 120 amps from the battery. you should have this within 18" of your battery connection. its a safety thing. def necessary
