Default Clock Light help.... Also carbon fiber help

Yo bought my tc a lil bit ago and never really noticed that my clock light does not turn on when i have my lights on. when i turn my head lights off it goes on. What could be the issue? The scion Dealer told me that it would cost alot so am trying to do it myself... also DOes anyone know a way to fix my carbon fiber hood it had a sponsorship sticker on it and got badly sun beaten... i live in SD if anyone know a place out here i just keep buffing it

It's a power supply chip on your HVAC board. Just take out your watterfall and take apart the controlls. Once you have the board out look for the chips with 2 or 3 legs on one side, and a big flat paddle on the other side. Just reheat them. You can add a little solder if you want, but you don't have to... The location was IC001, or IC300 (can't remember). Just reheat both of them.
