Default Aftermarket/Racing Seat Questions

Hey guys, planning on getting some aftermarket seats for the tc and have some questions. Found these two articles regarding aftermarket seats but still have some questions.

Will my airbags still deploy in a collision? I read somewhere that the weight sensor on the stock seat is NOT transferable to the aftermarket seat.

Lookin at some Sparco's right now!

the weight sensor can be transferred but it's going to take A LOT of work. Also, for the airbag issues, you can use resistors and there is a DIY out there and pretty much the same thing for our car. If you're going to get aftermarket seats, be aware that there will some air bag issues.

no there wont ^^^

take off the dam sensors snaked and routed onto the driver seat and passenger seat... once you strip off all the wires and sensors just simply plug them back into the oem harness under the seat and tuck them under your racing seat..

problem solved... no need to resistors when it takes 2 mins of work extra to take all the sensors off.
