component wiring help
ok this is a really lame question, but i have ran coaxials my entire life and with my dls up6 2 way set on the way, i need to know how components are wired. do you run one set of speaker wire to the crossover, and then from there break off to your mid range and tweet, or do you run 2 sets from the amp to CO and then 2 sets to speakers?? trying to find out how much speaker wire i am going to need to run my components in my tc with the amp in the trunk
Generally you run one set to crossover and then output two sets.. one to mid and one to tweeter...
or
you can ditch the passive crossover and with a 4 channel amp run the tweeters off the front channel and the mids off the rear. This is what Im going to be doing with mine in a the next week.

the guys at ED where telling me i could run the components off the first 2 channels of my amp, and then the sub on the rear channels bridged. looking at a nine.4 with a sq10 anyone do this?
