the determining factor for me was the remote start


viper just bypasses the clutch, hoping you didn't put it in gear


there are sequences that YOU can do


but compustar actually has a sequence, parking brake on. gear shifter in neutral, release foot off of brake/ clutch take key out/ engine still runs/ close door, car will lock/ engine turns off after 2 minutes


i like that. it looks pimp to have it turn off byitself, kinda like nightrider hahaha

 

Apparently, the Compustar 2wss-as has a range of up to 1.25 miles. The Viper 791xv has a quarter of a mile range.

Of course, none of that means anything if your car is at the bottom of a 3 story underground garage and your office desk is on the 5th floor of a building. Talk about interference... but, I will let you know if that works since I will be getting a Compustar and have that similar sort of situation.
