Hmm I was trying to do something like that last night... but how do you release the original pins? Do you just have to pull hard as hell? Or will that little E shaped plastic piece come out and release them? Gotta say, this is the best idea I've heard so far if it works. Thanks man

get a set of eye glass tools. You know the REAL tiny screw driver?
use it to release the pin, but dont crack the plastic. if you just pull the wire, it will pull the wire out.
You might even be able to reuse the pins, not to sure tho. Soldering is going to be tedious, but wil deffinetly work.

Why not just order the harness in the link I posted earlier? It's a reverse plug so it'll plug into the stock HU.
