Thanks guys.

I highly, highly recommend getting leather. If you can swing the cost, it makes a huge difference in the car.

Default Cost of leather.

My dealer set me up with my leather. Cost $1049 for black with perforated inserts (no two-tone). Work is being done by Classic Soft Trim of Orlando. I drop her off Thursday to get the work done. I will post pics once I have it back. The dealer keeps a showroom model tC on hand to show the quality of the work. I was very impressed with the model.

P.S. Part of the cover is vinyl which would explain the slightly cheaper cost of my leather compared to the $1500 most of us are paying.

yeah, you can get some screamin hot deals on leather on ebay for sure. I got a set yesterday for under $500 and that includes everything even the door inserts. My only concern is how hard it will be to put these on. You have to take off the cloth first. What kind of place would put them on for me if I didn't actually purchase them there? I am so looking forward to the leather (mine are grey leather with red leather inserts and a scion logo) I post some pix when I get them done. Anyone else have this done?

you will actually have to take off the front seat material...it is easy, it's made to come off. I'd take the seats out of the car to install the covers you will need some patience.

on the backs of the front seats you'll want to turn the new seats inside out and put them on kinda like a rubber (sorry only thing I could think of) bottom of seats will be pretty easy.

do them one at a time ( take the old cover off then put the new one on) it will help you better understand and make the switch more easy.

the back seat covers will be glued over the exisiting ones

if you don't have the time and wnatto get them installed call around to local upolstery shops

Just got mine back from the dealer Friday night. I have a BSP tC and had a graphite colored leather put in. It came out great. The color matches the dash and other trim pieces perfect.

It cost $1100 and an extra $500 for the seat heaters installed. They did the both the front and back seats, the front door inserts, the rear panels and the arm rest cover.

I'll try to post up pics in a few days.
