As most of you know, our tC's have an awesomely textured dashboard. However because of this, adhesive on the back of velcro will not stick to it. Has anyone stuck any sort of adhesive to our dashes?

 

I've always had good luck with the thicker 3M adhesive... everything else never worked for me...

I used it on my Golf and it worked just great.

Not sure what your application is, but for just laying things on the dash, these sticky pads are great:

velcro will work (my ssm tc has a dascover) but it takes some fingertip scalding w/ a hair dryer to heat both the velcro and dash area (ovbiously not tooo much) but then you should be fine

3m velcro + heat + cleaned surface = dashcovered
